A woman was airlifted to hospital following an incident on a beach.

The air ambulance landed near to the Royal Hotel in Deal on Tuesday, August 16.

Ambulance service paramedics were also called to the scene.

The woman had an injury to her upper arm after suffering a neurological medical episode.

The emergency services left the scene within the hour and the woman was flown to William Harvey Hospital in Ashford.
