An air ambulance conveyed a woman in Deal to hospital in Essex yesterday afternoon.

The air ambulance landed in Castle Community College grounds off Mill Road at around 3.30pm.

The woman suffered a head injury and was flown to Queen’s Romford Hospital in 50 minutes.

Two land ambulances were also in attendance.

A secamb spokesman said: “This was a call to a private address at which the air ambulance team assisted us.

"We don’t comment on the detail of calls to private addresses.”
