Everybody is welcome at a skate event hoped to encourage more people to grab a board and have a go at the sport.
The first Real Deal Skatejam will be taking place on Saturday at the skatepark on Park Avenue in Deal.
The event starts at 2pm and skaters of any age and ability are invited to come along to the free event.
A statement from organiser David Norris said: "Whether you are taking part or just coming to watch, everybody is welcome."
There will be music, fun challenges, prizes, skate exhibitions and refreshments courtesy of the Co-op’s community food initiative.
Free coaching sessions are being provided by Dan Wall, a fully qualified Skateboard GB coach.
There are a very small number of places left for the introductory and basic skills sessions.

Live music will be provided by Jed Sharpe, a keen skater and professional musician, based in Ramsgate.

The skatepark in Deal has a fantastic community of riders, everybody is made to feel very welcome.

Co-organiser Jim Dawson said “Interest in skateboarding has never been stronger, we’ve just seen Sky Brown become Britain’s youngest ever Olympic medallist and there are some fantastic new facilities being built across the region.
"You never know the next Olympic skateboarding champion might be inspired by the Real Deal Skatejam.”
