Two men have been issued cautions after an assault on pub staff in the early hours of Easter Sunday.
British Transport Police responded to the call in Deal after a fight at 1am which left a bouncer with blood running from his ear on April 9.
When officers arrived at the Queen Street Tap, a group of five suspects ran off, but pub staff were able to identify one man and the town's CCTV helped identify another.
Both men were taken into custody but have since been released after each being given a conditional discharge.
Kent Police continued further investigations and a spokesman said: "Officers from Kent Police and British Transport Police attended a disturbance in Queen Street, Deal at 1.30am on Sunday, April 9.
"A 23-year-old man from Deal and a 20-year-old man from Dover were both arrested on suspicion of assault.
"Both men were later dealt with by way of a conditional caution, which involved them each paying compensation to the victim.
"This was due to both men being of previous good character, having admitted the offence in full and expressing remorse for their actions."
The pub landlord expressed his "massive thanks" to the officers via Twitter.
