Appeal for witnesses after burglars target Deal property but steal nothing

Burglars broke into a Deal home but didn't steal a thing.

Police are now appealing for witnesses to the St Richard's Road incident which happened in the early hours of this morning.

Burglars targeted a home in Deal but didn't steal a thing

A spokesman said: "A property in St Richard’s Road was broken into between 2.30am and 5.45am on Tuesday, August 25 2020 while the victims were sleeping.

"Nothing has been reported stolen currently but enquiries into the burglary are ongoing.

"Anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious in the area is asked to call Kent Police on 01843 222289 quoting 25-0182."
