Cannabis plants seized at Elvington home

Police have found 28 cannabis plants at Chaucer Road, Elvington, after they raided a house on Wednesday.
The plants were found in the loft space and have an estimated street value of £17,000.
The warrant was executed under the Misuse of Drugs Act and a 33-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis. He was questioned and released on bail until August 8 while officers make further enquiries..
