Cross Road in Deal will be closed from tomorrow (Monday) for up to two weeks while sewer works take place.

Kent County Council Highways will be creating a new connection to a main sewer.

A spokeswoman said: “The old connection is not fit for purpose.”

There will be no access to the road between houses number 30 and 44.

A spokeswoman added: “There is an alternate route which will be signed posted.”
