CJ's Dance and Fitness Show

Youngsters from CJ's Dance and Fitness in Dover staged the group’s 16th annual show, Round The World, at The Leas Cliff Hall in Folkestone.

The show was a sell-out with more than 900 people attending the display of talent and professionalism put on by the 300 dancers and cheerleaders. Months of hard work had gone into producing the show.

Pupils as young as two entertained the audience with their ballet and tap numbers while cheerleaders had the crowd holding their breath with their stunts.

The deputy mayor, Cllr David Hannent, was in the audience and praised the school and everyone involved for such a wonderful show. He emphasised that CJ's was a great asset to the town of Dover.

Principal Carol Jenkins said, “Each year we aim to produce a show of a professional standard, one that truly shows the talent and gifts that the pupils have.

“A great deal of work by teachers, helpers and parents goes into making the event the highlight of the year. So a huge thank you to everyone involved.“

Anyone interested in attending classes should contact Carol on 07967 707074 or 01304 211827/823759.
