A vote of no confidence in the current Deal Town board will be tabled at an extraordinary general meeting of the football club on Sunday (start 11am).

The meeting, in the old Charles Ground clubhouse, has been called by chairman David Reid (pictured) on behalf of a consortium of members and former directors who are fighting for control of the club with a group headed by current board members Steven Bowers and Bob Chivington.

Meanwhile, the form of keepers Brad Ashmore and Marc Beresford was the main reason why Deal and bottom club Lordswood had to settle for a point in a 0-0 Bulmers Cider Kent League Premier Division draw on Tuesday night.

Jason Brazier missed the game because of work commitments, but will be available for the trip to Sevenoaks on Saturday. James Ellis is ruled out again with a hamstring injury.
