Deal boss Derek Hares is in favour of more teams joining the Kent League

Derek Hares believes he is on the verge of having his entire 17-man squad all fit for the first time this season.

Long-term absentees Leon Ingram and Shane Suter are both close to resuming training and the Deal boss admits he is looking forward to a few selection posers.

Ingram, who has been nursing a heel problem, was due back this week while Suter will start his comeback when he returns from holiday next week.

Hares (pictured) said: "I would rather have these problems, rather than be missing five players every week.

"We are getting people back slowly and surely and it makes such a difference."

Goalkeeper Paul Rogers and defender Gary Beeden are available after suspension for the Bulmers Cider Kent League Premier Division trip to Tunbridge Wells on Saturday.

Rogers has served a one-game ban after being sent-off against Sevenoaks but still faces another misconduct charge for comments to Margate referee Mark Graves after his dismissal.

Beeden has completed a three game lay-off following his red card in the FA Cup replay defeat at Selsey.

Michael Cassar is 50-50 with a calf strain.
