This is the P&O chief who died tragically in what is believed to be a sex game which went wrong.

Alun Williams, who worked for P&O on the Pride of Kent ship, was found dead last Tuesday at a flat in the Tower Hamlets area of Dover.

The first picture of him comes as a sex worker from a dominatrix chamber is offering to help police investigating the death.

Mr Williams was reportedly found wrapped in clingfilm at the East Street flat.

Reports have been sweeping social media that the body of Mr Williams was discovered wrapped like a mummy in clingfilm as part of a bizarre sex act gone wrong.

Now the dominatrix's maid - who only wanted to be identified as Anna - has spoken out in a bid to help police investigating his death last Tuesday.

Anna said clients who like to be wrapped in clingfilm are "extremely rare" and she has only met one man with those specific requirements in her 15-year career.

"It's not about sexual gratification," she said. "It's more about the restraint."

Now a care worker who occasionally "maids" for a dominatrix in London, Anna wants to help police understand more about the mindset of someone who wants to be dominated in such a way.

The mother offered her insight into the lesser-known sex pursuit after having experiences with a man with similar requirements.

At a dominatrix's chamber in a residential street, Anna and another woman helped wrap her client up, tape over the clingfilm and get him comfortable on a sofa.

The customer would then like to be left there for up to seven hours, sweating profusely – then paying £80 for the privilege, a cheap price for such a specialised service, she said.

During that time, the dominatrix blindfolded him and at times blocked his airways when he begged her to.

Residents in East Street were in shock when the news of the discovery broke.

P&O Ferries spokesman Brian Rees said: "We were obviously desperately sad to hear of Alun's death, and reported it to colleagues shortly after we heard last week.

"He was very well known, working for us a head chef, and our thoughts are with his family and friends."

Two men, aged 21 and 34, were arrested on suspicion of murder after the body was found in Dover last week and bailed the following day until November.

Kent Police spokesman Adam Westgarth said: "How Mr Williams was found is integral to the investigation so it would not be appropriate for us to comment.

"I don't know how this has got out. We are awaiting the results of a post mortem and further tests."
