Dover Athletic travel to Blue Square South strugglers Staines Town on Saturday with manager Nicky Forster looking for back-to-back wins ahead of Christmas.

Whites ended their run of four straight defeats – three in the league – with Saturday’s 4-1 home win over Bromley and Forster believes his side can push back into the promotion play-off spots.

After the Staines game, they meet mid-table Eastbourne Borough home and away, with Forster (pictured) saying: "It was slightly fortunate during that run of defeats that we didn’t lose more ground on the top five.

"Now we need to get back-to-back wins by beating Staines and set ourselves off another good run."

Defender Steve Watt, who will be out until the new year with his cruciate ligament injury, remains Whites’ only serious injury problem, although Forster said there were "a few players with sniffles" at Tuesday’s training session.

Are Whites capable of a six-pont haul? Comment below.
