A week of activities is being planned in Dover to encourage people to feel good about themselves and try new experiences.

Dover Town Council, Vista Leisure and businesses in the town have joined together to create a Feel Good Week programme of fun family activities.

The week starts with Feel Good Friday, March 29, with an open day at Dover Leisure Centre. For £1 for the whole day people can swim, try trampolining, join an exercise class, visit the gym, play table tennis and more.

There will be a boot camp at Connaught Park on Easter Monday led by instructors from Hourglass Fitness Studio in Ladywell and Vista.

Also planned are pop-up nail and beauty stands offering manicures and head massages, roller-skating, a cheerleading day in the Town Hall, bikeability challenge in Pencester Gardens and a frisbee event.

Kalvin Clapson of Vista said: "All activities are just turn up and play."
