Kent Police are appealing for information.

A Dover man has admitted to four counts of theft from shops in the town.

Benjamin Aldred, 26, of Rokesley Road stole alcohol three times from the Co-op in Castle Street and £20 worth of ready meals from Marks and Spencer in Biggin Street in January and February.

He was sentenced to 120 days in prison, suspended for 18 months.

A 12 month supervision order was imposed on Aldred, who appeared before Medway magistrates via the virtual court link at Folkestone’s police station.
