May Bell won a national beauty competition

A twin has won a national model competition - while her sister also got into the finals.

May Bell, 17, was named top girl in the Elite Model Look UK 2013 final, which was attended by top fashion and beauty industry experts from across the country.

May has won a contract with Elite, and one of the first to congratulate her was twin sister Ruth. Both girls are students at Dover Girls' Grammar School.

The judging panel included Elite Model Management directors and fashion stylist Harry Lambert.

In addition to the modeling contract, May will have the opportunity to take part in the Elite Model Look World final - a global event that could result in an international modeling contract, which will take place on November 27.
