Students at Dover Grammar School for Girls have work shown at galleries in London and Margate

Young artists from Dover Grammar School for Girls were thrilled to have a selection of their work shown at the Mall Galleries in London and Turner Contemporary in Margate.

Their work was chosen for the 11th National Students' Art Exhibition, which displays some of the country's top artistic talent.

From this, a selection of the paintings were chosen to be shown in The John Downton Award Exhibition.

Hannah Zimmer, who attends the school's sixth form, had a piece of her art work, named Triptych, shown.

After this, Miss Zimmer's work was selected to be displayed in the Turner Contemporary in Margate.
