Rebecca Furnin, of Leyburne Road, Dover, has been charged with six offences after police were called to Cannon Street on Saturday night

A 30-year-old Dover woman has been charged with six offences following a disturbance on Saturday night.

Officers were called to Cannon Street at 11pm, where Rebecca Furnin of Leyburne Road was causing a scene.

Furnin has been charged with assaulting four people, including two police officers and a detention officer at Folkestone’s police station, using threatening and abusive words and possessing cannabis.

She was due to appear via virtual court link before the courts today.
