Police are hunting an alleged sex attacker who reportedly pounced on a 10-year-old girl on a beach.

The child reported being assaulted on Deal seafront, and officers have released an e-fit of a man they want to speak to.

The attack is said to have happened at around 12.45pm on Saturday, August 8, but detectives have only now been able to launch the appeal.

The victim has described the man as dark-skinned, aged in his late 40s or 50s, with a large build and of scruffy appearance.

Anyone able to identify the e-fit is asked to call police on 01843 222289 quoting crime reference ZY/025034/15.
