The stage is set and they're hoping for another scorcher at the second annual Music on the Farm festival.

The all-day event at Solley's Farm in Ripple features food and fun for all the family while raising funds for adult disability charity Martha Trust.

It will be on Sunday, June 30 from noon until 8pm with tickets officially going on sale today (Wednesday).

Keith Morrison, director of Solley’s Ice Cream, said: "The Martha Trust is a fabulous and worthy local charity and Solley’s Farms Icecream is delighted to be hosting this event again at Ripple.

"Last year’s event was amazing with more than £14,000 raised so get your tickets early. We look forward to seeing everyone."

This year's line up features covers band The Upstarts with the return of old favourites like Tom Abrahams, Gypskazz, Andy Lawrence, Your Shout and the Lofty Harris boys.

They'll be the opportunity to learn the dance moves as Contraband perform traditional English folk tunes as well as Irish, American and Scottish.

Six hours of children’s entertainment organised by creative arts workshop leader Lizzie Willis is promised as well as face and body painting from Suzanna Make-Upps and twinkle hair and henna by Hannah Gunton.

Families can pack a picnic or enjoy food and drink from one of the onsite vendors and bars which include Dough Douch Pizza, the Reggae Shack and GinsSane - all of which will be donating a 20% to the cause. They'll also be slush puppies, popcorn, waffles and candy floss by Seaside Event Hire.

The day will be rounded off with an auction and a raffle which includes the opportunity to win a wheelbarrow of booze.

Free car parking will be available in addition to a new transport service on offer, this year, from Roy Smith.

He'll run a shuttle bus service from South Street, Deal, to the venue and back for £5 return fee, with all funds being donated to the charity.
