A Very Merry Christmas message from Deal is shared across the world, thanks to a team project from a web designer and veteran photographer Harold Chapman, who both live in the town.
An award winning crime fiction writer, who also lives in Deal, was featured on Monday’s advent calendar count down, with other days so far featuring a shopping scene and a jolly Father Christmas.
Mr Chapman, from Bulwark Road, Deal, said: “I have never done an advent calendar before. But when invited to do so by Pat Wilson, who designed the project, I thought, this is really important.
“This is a good chance to help promote Deal and show Deal at its sparkling best. I sent the link out and it’s creating a snowball effect! Everyone is having great fun with the ‘electric advent’.”
