An appeal has been launched to help find a missing man.

Lewis Humphreys was last seen in the Walmer area at 8.45am this morning.

The 44 year old is believed to have travelled in the Dover direction and may be travelling in a silver Nissan Micra.

Lewis is described as being 5ft 11ins with brown, greying hair and stubble.

He has a Celtic band tattoo on his arm and is believed to have been wearing a green and black tracksuit when last seen.

A police spokesman added: “Officers are concerned for his welfare and urge anyone who has seen him to call 999 quoting reference 08-0530.”
