talk about filming in Sandwich
A quiet east Kent town has had a touch of Hollywood with TV
presenters, pop stars and top chefs descending on it for
filming.
The people behind a new advert for Walkers crisps sent
footballer Frank Lampard, chef Marco Pierre White and even former
Baywatch actress Pamela Anderson to shoot the campaign in
Sandwich.
Crowds gathered in the town to watch the filming, which soon

Boy-band JLS made an appearance at Sandwich Tech sixth form
college, where they performed a lunch-time concert to the
star-struck students.
And racing driver Jenson Button swapped his Formula One car for
a black cab, to ferry locals around the town.
Footballer Gary Lineker, the long-standing star of the crisp
adverts, told KentOnline he had been trying to make the town more
exciting:
“As part of Walkers, we think we can make any sandwich more
exciting. So we thought we would try the ultimate
sandwich, the town.”
