Kent rower Luke Moon has been selected for the Great Britain team for next month’s Junior World Championships at Eton’s Dorney Lake.

And Moon, who lives in Deal, will have the thrill of racing on the 2012 Olympic rowing course as the championships are doubling as the test event for next year’s Games.

A member of the King’s School Canterbury Boat Club, Moon has been selected to compete in the junior men’s quad along with Jack Beaumont from Maidenhead, Devon’s Marcus Bowyer and Lewis Sloan from Berkshire.
