A man has been charged with the shooting incident at Alkham last month.

Paul Smith, 45, also known as Andrew Bywater, from Friars Way in Dover handed himself in on Wednesday and was charged with attempted murder yesterday.

He appeared at court today and has been remanded in custody to appear at Maidstone Crown Court November 23.
