Man in serious condition after alleged stabbing in Hyton Drive, Deal

A man is in a serious condition following an alleged stabbing on a residential street.

Emergency services were called to an address in Hyton Drive, Deal, following reports of an assault on Saturday at 12.30am.

Paramedics treated the victim at the scene before he was taken to a London hospital where his condition is described as serious but stable.

Officers arrested a man who they say was known to the victim.

On Sunday, police charged Jordon Jennings, 23, of Hyton Drive, with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and possession of a knife in a public place.

Following an initial hearing at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court, Mr Jennings is due to reappear at Canterbury Crown Court today (Wednesday).
