Jack and the Beanstalk

The curtain goes up on Wednesday, January 12, for the first performance of the panto Jack and the Beanstalk at Dover Town Hall.

And it also marks the start of the Dover Operatic and Dramatic Society’s centenary year of celebrations.

Performances continue every evening this week at 7.15pm, and there’s a matinee on Saturday at 2.15pm.

Tickets are £8 and £6, with a family ticket for two adults and two children priced at £20. They are available from Dover Information Centre, next to the town hall, Ann and Pam’s Florists in Cherry Tree Avenue and The Fox public house at Temple Ewell.

The panto has been specially written for the society by one of its members, Keith Cox, and has a cast of 35.
