A consultation meeting is being held tomorrow over plans for the multi-million pound redevelopment of Dover Christ Church Academy.
The scheme has been drawn up by Kent County Council with the Department for Education to provide students with vocational facilities and "an inspirational learning environment".
Willmott Dixon Construction have been chosen as the contractor for the project.
A planning application is due to be submitted to the district council in July, but a public exhibition is being held at the academy tomorrow from 3-8pm when representatives from all those involved in the redevelopment will be on hand to answer questions.
The plans involve keeping some of the existing buildings but adding new sections.
Among the facilities being provided will be a school hall, dining area, classrooms and recreational areas including a new sports hall, fitness suite and dance studio.
There will be specific areas for English, humanities, creative and expressive arts as well as a hair and beauty salon, textiles, foods and construction areas.
The academy was formed on the site of the former Archers Court Secondary School at Melbourne Avenue, Whitfield.
