Police want to hear from you

Kent Police were offering direct responses via the internet yesterday (Thursday) to people in outlying communities around Dover, Deal and Sandwich.
People who might normally have access difficulties could quiz their neighbourhood police team on local issues from the comfort of their own home.
They could visit the Kent Police website to post questions and receive answers from neighbourhood officers.
Others could simply log on to view queries and responses.
Police community support officer Gary Painter said: “This is another way for the community to contact police. We appreciate that not everyone can attend evening meetings or meet us during the day."
Residents could also visit the website in advance of the online beat meeting. Those who wish to take part, receive email reminders or replay previous meetings, should go to www.kent.police.uk/news/online_meetings
Twitter users can also keep up to date with the work of Kent Police in the Dover area by visiting www.twitter.com and searching @kentpolicedover
