Artistic flair of Sandwich Technology School pupils goes on show at exhibition

Pupils at Sandwich Technology School were given the chance to exhibit their work outside the classroom.
Create 17 was the school’s ninth annual showcase of artwork, photography, graphics, music, design technology and electronics.
It was a celebration of the achievements of both GCSE and A-level pupils and was open
to the community.
This year, in addition to works exhibited in the main hall, a performing arts tent with singers and musicians was featured as well as a show-reel of student films in the school’s in-house cinema.
Spokesman Bruce Healy said: “We are incredibly proud of the creativity of our students.
“The evening is a chance for the whole community to see the talent of the young people who have worked so
hard to produce the show – taking work out of books and
folders and showing it to the public.
“Lots of our students progress to higher education in design and the visual arts and for them it is a taste of exhibiting to a real audience to a professional standard.”
