The cause of a fire which damaged a shed and a vehicle at Tower Hamlets on Tuesday morning is being investigated by police and fire officials.

Fire crews were called to West Street just after 5.30am when flames were seen coming from the shed in the back garden of house.

As well as the shed, the fire also damaged fencing and a van parked nearby.
