Suspected burglar James Nevin remanded in custody for another month after burglaries in Deal and Sandwich

A suspected burglar accused of two crimes in different towns has been remanded in custody for another month.

James Nevin was arrested on Sunday, July 26 following an incident at a house in Thornbridge Road, Deal , the same day in which jewellery, alcohol and cash were reportedly stolen.

Officers also connected him to an earlier incident in Dover Road in Sandwich on Monday, July 13 when a wallet and laptop are alleged to have been taken.

Mr Nevin, 44, of no fixed abode, faces two counts of burglary.

He was remanded in custody following his first appearance at Medway Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, July 28.

He appeared at Woolwich Crown Court on Tuesday with the case adjourned for another month until September 24.
