Deal's annual Carnival Week kicks off this weekend.
The first event will be a Teddy Bear’s Picnic on Walmer Green on Saturday at 2.30pm.
Sunday sees a 10k run, hopscotch championship, a sea swim race, raft race and lorry pull.
Croydon Steel Orchestra will also be playing at 1pm and AeroSuperBatics Wingwalkers will be displaying their awesome skills between 5pm and 6pm.
The main event, the carnival procession, will take place on Thursday, July 28.
It will move off at 7pm from the Downs Sailing Club at Walmer Green, and then go along The Strand past Deal Castle, Beach Street, Deal Pier and the Royal Hotel and ends at Goodwin Road.
An honorary member of the Carnival Court will be Khrystyna Klots, eight, a Ukrainian who fled the Russian invasion with her family this year.
They are now with a host household in Walmer.
Khrystyna was made an honorary princess in the Junior Court and will be on its float during the procession.
There are 48 entrants for the procession so far.
These are floats on lorries, decorated cars and vans and walking groups.
