Scotland Yard said they have both been charged with conspiring to attend "a place used for terrorist training knowing" and being in possession of a stash of rifle ammunition.

Mohommod Hassin Nawaz is also accused of with being in possession of a laptop computer containing "information of a kind likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism".

The Dover arrests sparked Metropolitan Police raids on a property in east London and two vehicles.
