Tuneful P&O Ferries workers have sung their hearts out to win TV talent show The Choir.
The final, which was aired on BBC2 last night, showed the ferry firm's singers perform their own rendition of With a Friend Like You.
They have now been dubbed the best workplace choir in the country by winning the show, hosted by Gareth Malone.
Helen Deeble, chief executive of P&O Ferries, said: "We're incredibly proud of our choir because our singers work in such a wide range of roles, ashore in Dover and Calais, and on board our ships, it is really difficult for them to get together to rehearse.
"So in that sense the odds were stacked against them from the start."
"I think our choir have done P&O Ferries and the communities of Dover and Calais proud..." Helen Deeble, from P&O Ferries
The P&O Ferries choir featured ships' officers, chefs, stewards, warehouse and HQ staff from both sides of the Channel.
She added: "But through a tremendous team spirit, and an incredible amount of hard work, we've watched their progress with a growing sense of awe, culminating in a nerve-wracked final in front of an audience of more than one thousand people at Ely Cathedral. The final was a night we'll never forget."
P&O Ferries chairman Robert Woods said: "My hearty congratulations to our singers for a magnificent performance. To achieve such a high standard in such a short time is testament to the amount of effort they've put in.
"We should also acknowledge the inspirational role of Gareth Malone and his colleagues in leading our team through this incredible journey."
