The Saturdays singer Frankie Bridge enjoyed a day out in Kent with friends over the weekend.

The I'm A Celebrity star visited The Zetland Arms, in Kingsdown, Deal, on Saturday for drinks on the beach, followed by lunch.

It is understood the party were on a hen do.

Taking to Instagram stories, the 33-year-old shared photos of the day out, which included a group shot of the friends gathered around a picnic bench at the pub.

Landlady Kerensa Miller said: "I didn't talk to her but I did see her. She was with some girlfriends and they sat on the beach and had a drink.

"They then came inside for lunch. They had a laugh and a giggle. It was very pleasant.

"When they left we obviously said thank you and goodbye."

Ms Miller said it is always lovely to see a famous face visit.

She added: "It is lovely to see celebrities in the pub. I sometimes wonder how do people find us as we're right on the beach and you do have to try and find us. But we're well advertised."

Mrs Bridge rose to fame as part of S Club Juniors and later girl group The Saturdays.

The mother-of-two, who is married to footballer Wayne Bridge, is also a panellist on Loose Women and last year came third on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!

As well as a visit to The Zetland, her party also visited Chequers Kitchen Cookery School, also in Deal, for a three-hour evening pizza making activity.

Mrs Bridge also shared photos of the cooking class to her 1.5 million followers on Instagram.

Chef Liza Woodgate who led the pizza making class described her as a "sweetheart".

She said: "She was a friendly, lovely lady, just enjoying time with her friends."

Co-owner Stephanie Hayman enjoyed a chat with the star.

She said she had a "presence about her".

She added: "It was a pleasure to have her. They were a lovely group who had a lot of fun."

Mrs Bridge wasn't the only famous face in the Zetland this week.

Actor Nigel Havers also paid a visit on Friday.

Ms Miller added: "The pub was a little celebrity hotspot at the weekend."
