And another takes place in a couple of weeks.
The 18-hole Martha Trust Golf Day was held at Walmer and Kingsdown Golf Club on September 17, having had to be put off last year because of coronavirus.
Golfers came from as far as Surrey and London.
Winning first prize were the Tip Top Toppers who scored 113 points.
Just missing top place were the Team Clandonites scoring 112 points and third came Team Clubs and Roses with 106 points.
Nearest the Pin, played from the 4th, 11th , 14th and 17th tees, were won by Robbie Herbert, Mark Broadhurst, Kate Dunham and Dr Giles Beach.
Auction prizes included a Michelin Chef meal for 10.
The event was supported by West Indies cricketer John Shepherd and eight local businesses sponsored holes.
Kerry Banks, Martha Trust fundraising and events officer, said: ‘We are delighted that the day was such an enormous success and are so grateful to the golfing community for rallying around to help us stage such a special day after such a challenging 18 months."
Normally these tournaments are six months apart but to catch up the next is from 8.30am on Thursday, October 14, this time at the Princes Golf Club in Sandwich.
The cost is £340 for a team of four or £85 per person.
