Police appeal for witnesses to Jubilee Way crash

Police are appealing for information about a crash on the A2 Jubilee Way at Dover which left two people injured.

It happened just before 8.30am on Monday and involved a black BMW 316 and a grey Volkswagen Fox.

A man, aged 48 from Deal, who was travelling in the BMW and a woman, aged 19 and also from Deal, who was travelling in the Volkswagen, were both taken to William Harvey Hospital with injuries which at first were thought to be serious. Fire crews had to cut the roofs of both vehicles to release them.

They were both later discharged from hospital.

The road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident and while the vehicles were recovered. It was fully reopened after three hours.
