The opening ceremony of the Paralympic Games will be shown on Dover's Big Screen this evening.

And additional seating is being provided in the Market Square so that people can watch some of the action from the games during the next 10 days.

The Market Square area has been decorated with Olympic flags and colourful beanbags ready for the opening ceremony which will be shown from 8-11pm.

Additional seating will be provided for the games events from Monday to Thursday next week, (noon-9pm), and also on September 7 (noon-10pm), September 8 (noon-10.30pm) and September 9 (noon-11pm) including the closing ceremony.
