He may not be Michael Parkinson, Graham Norton or even Keith Lemon, but Deal’s own celebrity interviewer Charlie Chittenden has his own charms.
Working under his alias, the Wimpy Pimp, the larger than life rapper, 33, is trying his hand at presenting on his own online show, which goes live on Youtube today.
He said: “I’ve just finished filming the first episode of my quirky celebrity chat show, The Wimpy Pimp Show.
"I hope the show will come across as cheesy and ‘So bad its Good’
“I hope the show will come across as cheesy and ‘So bad its Good’. - Charlie Chittenden
“I have interviewed actor Peter Cocks from Basil Brush, Globo Loco, Ministry of Mayhem and the Private Widdle Social Club, Matt and Sueleen contestants from The Voice, and violinist Ian Cutler who appeared in the 1973 horror film The Wicker Man.”
With his knee-knocking stomp and accompanied (in true pimp style) by his stocking exposed lady-friends, Mr Chittenden has already amassed a following in Deal from his regular rap performances.
He has taken to the mic in venues around Deal including the Walmer Castle and the Astor Theatre, where he wowed the crowd during one of the Private Widdle Social Club’s cabaret nights.
To describe him, he resembles Liam Gallagher, only he is adorned by a leopard print gown, a bling crown, dollar-sign medallion and sunglasses.
Mr Chittenden of Nelson Street, added: “The show ends with a live performance by one man band Pete Chittenden.”
The Wimpy Pimp Show is a monthly feature, and is professionally filmed and produced by Mosh Motion Movies.
Like many who are commercialising their youtube videos, Mr Chittenden has allotted the show a commercial break to bring in funds. He is looking for local advertisers too.
