A woman was taken to a London hospital with serious injuries following a crash.

Two people on a Yamaha motorbike were injured in the collision, which happened in Dover Road, Walmer, near Deal.

Emergency services were called to the scene shortly before 3am on Saturday, near the junction with Liverpool Road.

A police spokesman said: “A woman passenger was taken to a London hospital with serious injuries.

“A man who is believed to have been riding was taken to a local hospital with less serious injuries.”

Police say no other vehicles are believed to have been involved.
