A day full of fun and music is promised for revelers at the second Kingsdown Rocks festival with headlining act X-Factor finalist Ben Mills.
The festival, on Saturday, August 2, will be held in the field at Kingsdown and Ringwould Primary School.
The afternoon starts with family fun including pony rides, a bouncy castle, hair braiding, face painting, balloon modelling and a children's disco.
And the music promises to be an attraction in itself with X-Factor's Ben Mills as well as Surrey's leading Afro/soul band Jam Side Up.
Gemma Green is on the organising committee. She said: "During the late afternoon and evening the great schedule rocks on with mixed live sets from soloists One love, Jack Wilby, Sarah Banks and the outstanding Elvis tribute-Darren Price."
She added: "The night continues with sets by top Kent bands including the seven-piece Caution Horses and As Is Now."
A Real Ale Tent will sell a selection of Kentish ales, there will be a barbecue and a traditional tea tent with homemade cakes and snacks.
The gates open at noon with the family events and the music continues until 11pm.
Despite the rise in the costs of staging this years event the entry has stayed low at just £7 for the day (£3 for children aged four and over).
All proceeds will go to school funds and local causes.
