When it comes to fast cars, there's nothing that can beat this one - not on the road anyway.
The Bugatti Veyron Super Sport is the world's fastest street-legal car - it has a top speed of 267 miles an hour - and at £1.6 million, it is also the most expensive car ever carried by P&O Ferries across the Channel.
Loading officer Sean Wanstall, who has supervised countless thousands of cars onto ships, was among those who was impressed when it arrived at Dover's Eastern Docks on Saturday.
It was among some of the most exotic supercars on the planet which were heading for the Le Mans 24 hour race.
The legendary event draws tens of thousands of British supporters across the Channel each year, and tempts owners of many of the most spectacular cars ever built to take to the road. This year’s event marked the race’s 90th anniversary.
P&O Ferries says the list of famous car marques it was carrying was incredible even by its own Le Mans weekend standards. They included Lamborghinis, Aston Martins, Maseratis, Ferraris and Porsches as well as cars from the likes of McLaren and Noble.
