A man who had his car stolen off his driveway in broad daylight is appealing for witnesses.
Tony Lowe says his silver coloured Hyundai - number plate EF61 NLN - disappeared from his home in Cowdray Sqaure, Deal sometime between 1pm and 3pm on Tuesday.
The 61-year-old claims he was inside at the time doing housework and "didn't hear a thing".
He is asking for any witnesses who may have seen something to get in touch with police.
He said: "I went out about 2.45pm to have a cigarette. I couldn't believe my eyes. It took me about 30 seconds to realise it had gone.
"I checked with neighbours and nobody saw anything."
Mr Lowe bought the car brand new seven years ago.
He says the vehicle was definitely locked as he always double checks the handle however he doesn't know how access could have been gained especially as he found no remnants of a smashed window on his driveway.
He added: "I've been out and walked around the streets looking in garage areas to see if it's been dumped but had no luck so far."
The exact model is a Hyundai 1 10 Silver 5 door hatchback.
A police spokesman said: "We received a report of a stolen vehicle in Cowdray Square on Tuesday, February 27. It is believed the car was stolen at around 3pm and inquiries are ongoing."
