Appeal after sex attack claim

AN INVESTIGATION is underway after an alleged sexual assault in a Kent town.

Police have secured an area in Cornwall Road, Deal, after reports of the attack taking place in the early hours of this morning.

Det Insp Steve Bridges said: "I am appealing to anyone who may have heard or seen anything suspicious in the vicinity between 9pm on Tuesday night and 3am on Wednesday morning to contact police."
