A barber is donating 100% of his shop's takings today in support of one of his regular customers.
Jamie Clark, who has Downs Syndrome, has been visiting King's barbers in Deal High Street, with his mum Sue, every week for more than two and half years.
His regular custom has prompted owner Enver 'Efe' Yeshibulut to give something back.
Having heard about the great charity work Jamie's family do, Efe has pledged to give all the money he and his five employees earn today to Pegasus Playscheme - a charity which puts on a three-week summer playscheme for children with disabilities.
The scheme, which is in to its 32nd year, costs £70,000 a year and involves detailed planning and the hiring of staff to help with the daily trips such as canoeing, sailing and cinema trips.
Chairman of the charity, Sue, said: "It's overwhelming what Efe is doing today. We've never had anything like this before.
"It's such a wonderful gesture, supporting children with disabilities."
She added: "Jamie loves coming here. It's his Tuesday routine."
Sue, of Collingwood Road, St Margaret’s, was awarded an MBE last year for her services to children with disabilities.
She dedicated the award to her son Jamie who she called “the light of her life”.
He attended Buckingham Palace with his mum but not before a special shave and hair cut from Efe.
Efe said his act of kindness is also in support of World Downs Syndrome Day, on March 21.
He said: "Jamie has been coming her since I opened two and a half years ago.
"I wanted to do something like this for him."
Efe is also offering Turkish coffee and chocolates to every customer.
People are also invited to pop in and make a donation without having their hair cut.
The barbers will close at 6pm.

Jamie was selected as the 2012 Olympic Torchbearer in Dover.
Because of this there is also a steel sculpture of him standing alongside James Bond author Ian Fleming and Forces’ Sweetheart Dame Vera Lynn on Dover seafront.
