A beach clean is being organised by a community green group as part of the Great British Spring Clean.
Deal With It, which regularly clears the shoreline at Deal, has changed its format to ensure those taking part stay safe from Coronavirus.
It's now asking people to book in advance and specify one of a number of time slots, allowing the organisers to keep numbers to an acceptable level and sanitise equipment.
Their next litter pick is this Sunday, June 6 at Walmer Castle Beach from 9.30am.
On Deal With It's online booking page it says: "We are looking manage the community cleans a little differently whilst the COVID emergency is on to ensure social distancing, and ensure it is safe for all involved as well as the general public.
"We are asking people to select a start time so we can manage numbers at the start.
"We will have disinfected pickers, some bag holders and cleaned gloves (but if you have some please bring them) and hand gel.
"The start/finish area will be marked for 2m in a one-way system.
"We will email everyone confirming the details on meeting point on the beach in front of Deal Castle
"Given the current situation we may cancel event if restrictions change Please don't attend the clean if ill
