Boy hit by car in Mill Hill in Deal escapes with minor injuries

A young boy escaped with only minor injuries after being hit by a car in Mill Hill in Deal.

The incident at around 4.30pm yesterday prompted three calls to the emergency services.

Both police and the ambulance service attended.

A SECamb spokesman said: “We were called to reports a young boy had been hit by a car.

“The car was not said to be going fast but the patient was suffering some pain in his chest area.”

The boy thought to be aged between 11 and 13 was discharged at the scene in the care of his parents.

A spokesman said: “Police were called to Mill Hill, Deal, at 4.30pm yesterday following a report that a pedestrian had been in collision with a car.

"A boy is reported to have been suffered minor injuries.”
