Hundreds of free pastries, doughnuts and hot drinks will be given away at this year’s braderie.
The popular annual antique, collectables and bric-a-brac street fair, organised by Deal Town Council, returns on Sunday from 8.30am to 4pm.
It runs along Deal High Street from Church Path to just past the junction of Water Street, near Alfred Square.
In keeping with tradition, passers-by will be treated with sweet treats thanks to the generosity of St George’s Church.
They will be served between 11.30am and 1pm in the gardens at the front of the church. There will also be free face painting.
Events coordinator Lynn Watson said: “We love being part of the braderie, taking our usual Sunday worship outside, and meeting everyone browsing the stalls. We’ve bought a few extra pastries and doughnuts this year as we always seem to get a really warm response.”
St George’s will start the day with an informal worship service for all ages at 10.30am. All are welcome.
