Broken down vehicle causes delays on A258 Deal to Dover Road

A broken down vehicle on the A258 Deal to Dover Road has been removed, easing traffic delays.

Police were called to the failing vehicle at Oxney Bottom, near St Margaret's, at 4.40pm today.

Drivers caught up in the delays took to social media to warn others of the big queues.

Police confirmed it was a broken down vehicle rather than an accident causing the hold up for rush hour drivers.

A spokesman said: "The car was removed at around 5.30pm."

Traffic is now flowing.
