Police have been informed about an amount of cash found in Victoria Road in Deal.
It was picked up by a man on Friday, July 1, and remains in his possession. The quantity is not being reported.
Police press officer Martin Very said: “If somebody believes the cash is theirs, they can attend Deal Police Station where the details of the finder have been recorded.”
The finder says he would like the owner to give full particulars of the amount of money, what form of bank notes it is and the conveyance for example, wallet, bag, envelope.
He has said if the money is not claimed he will donate it to charity.
Deal Police Station, in London Road, is open from 10am until noon Monday to Friday.
